Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing or micropigmentation, is a technique where pigments are implanted into the skin's dermal layer to enhance facial features such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. It offers a long-lasting solution to enhance one's appearance, often mimicking the look of makeup.
Permanent makeup typically lasts between 1 to 3 years, depending on factors like skin type, pigment quality, and lifestyle. Over time, the pigments gradually fade and may require touch-ups to maintain the desired look.
When deciding which permanent makeup technique is best for your skin type, it’s essential to start with a consultation. During this session, I’ll assess your skin type—whether it’s oily, dry, combination, or sensitive—and listen to the look you want to achieve. Based on this, I’ll recommend the techniques that are most suitable for you.
We’ll go over different methods like microblading, shading, or a combination of both, and I’ll explain how they work with your specific skin type. I can also show you before-and-after photos of clients with similar skin to help you visualize the results.
